As if the movie couldn't get better enough..........a lot of people were wondering why the some scenes from the movie were cut or if there were any alternate endings pertaining to the ending to the movie............next part is going to be spoilers so if you haven't seen the movie and actually want to be surprised then don't read the rest of this thread....if you have seen the movie or you haven't and just don't care then I advise you to stay and read.
Now people were wondering (as I said before) why there were some cut scenes from the movie or if there were any Alternate scenes or endings...well we can bet on both of them....it has just been revealed that there are several alternate endings that have already been shot but were cut out of the film due to the scenes being too "intense" or "BRUTAL" for PG-13 audiences. So I'm gonna number these down below.........
1.) Alternate scene for the Death of Gwen Stacy (#1): Now there are a couple other alternate scenes for this particular topic but this is one of them.....Goblin (Harry Osborne) grabs Gwen Stacy and BREAKS her neck with his bare hands.......sorry to go into to detail in a sec here but he basically wraps his hands around her throat and breaks her neck........starting to get the brutal picture here as to why this got cut out???
2.) Alternate scene for the Death of Gwen Stacy (#2): This new one might be a little more brutal than the first one but if you're with me this far then you should be "OK".....well in this alternate scene Goblin grabs Gwen and Stabs her to death with his knife like tool.......again too brutal for PG-13 audiences.
3.) Alternate scene for the Death of Gwen stacy (#3): Now this one is slightly different than the death scene they showed in the movie....basically Goblin is defeated and Spider-Man fails to catch her with the web and cries over her dead body....nothing different right?
same as the one they showed in the final cut, AHHH but.....this time Goblin is cautious and starts laughing at peter as he's crying over Gwen's body......he laughs and laughs and laughs...peter than gets angry and almost beats him to death....he stops after a while before he could do something more fatal to actually kill him for good....(he doesn't kill him)
4.) Original Goblin transformation scene: In the original Goblin transformation scene some parts were cut out because Goblin at one point see's his teeth growing out of his mouth and he shatters them....and then come the nails growing out....this part was showed in early screenings of the movie...but due to the viewers reactions it was cut out for the release date.
5.) Goblin Massacre......: This scene........why.........why......why would they make this in the first place. Now don't get me wrong I would have loved to have seen this b/c well.....i'm mature enough to see things like this..and I'm very curious to see how this scene would have played out...but for a kid watching this in theaters i'm glad they cut this out.....now what happens in this scene is when Harry just transforms into goblin and he goes into higher Oscorp levels and brutally massacres most of the employees there, but leaves Felicia's alive showing a possible relationship between the 2.....in other scenes that were cut Harry and Felicia are shown to have a relationship and grow fond of each other, these were cut out obviously.
6.) Harry Speeding: This is pretty straight forward scene, Harry is on a date with this girl, and he is driving a car with her in the passenger seat.....Harry decides to drink and drive and at the same time is speeding as the girl begs for him to slow down...this scene was cut out of the movie obviously b/c of the younger audiences that may be watching.
These were basically the Alternate/cut scenes of the movie Hope you enjoyed....remember you may see these on the directors cut when this movie comes out on DVD which I know will be some time from now...but I think it will be worth the wait to watch[/spoiler]
