I can't possibly be the only one that thinks that school becomes completely and utterly useless after elementary... right? I've had too much time lately to think about things... and the more days of school I painfully survive the worse it becomes. I believe it's a waste of my time, why am I being tested and learning things I'll never use/I've already learned? Although I'm not a dumb kid who fails their classes (in fact I'm a straight A student) I find no use in them and doubt I'll use most things in the future and feel I've already learned half of it either way. I would feel slightly better if school focused on what students wanted their career paths to be and gave lessons accordingly not a basic curriculum that everyone is forced to learn and not everyone will make use of in their career of choice. If you want to learn something these days we have a wonderful thing called the internet there's no need for school.. honestly. The only way I'm still hanging on is because of friends, school is basically just a social hub to me I couldn't care less about the education (well.. I like art). It also gets harder when you move.. (just did recently).
Other opinions? I doubt I'm the only one...
