Guys I just have to say, I am utterly PISSED......................That I have to wait another year for the 3rd ONE!!!!! Gotcha didn't I.....This movie IMO is the best Spider-Man movie I have seen in my life or so far, this pushed spider-man and his story across the line and I mean that as a good thing, this movie really kept me at the edge of my seat with the captivating story and action and LOTS of humor. I have seen other places that people are hating on this master piece......people say there was too much crammed in and that spider-man can't be, and I quote, "funny and emotional at the same time". This one line pissed me off the most because of the stupidity that was put into such sentence. Spider-Man is known to be that funny relate able guy that is spider-man and thinks he can live a double life but when he becomes peter parker at the end of the day he has his own emotional problems to deal with.....the problem is that people are still holding on to the old Sam Raimi franchise which was entertaining at some points I admit.....but lacked the classic story and believable acting that people wanted to go out and see, so that is just what I think the villains were incorporated very nicely in the movie and the acting from Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Dane Dehaan was incredible. Especially Dane Dehaan, he did not dissapoint me in this film he was someone you could feel bad about at some points and you can see the insanity in him later in the film.....Oh yeah and don't get me started on his laugh as he Green Goblin, his laugh just gave me goosebumps and a chill down my spine. The chemistry/ Love story between Peter and Gwen (Andrew and Emma) was so believable that you actually feel it in you. Electro's performance in this film was outstanding including his theme song at some points just gives you goosebumps and make you wanna scream MORE! Other than that he is someone you can really feel bad for, a guy who has no friends and gets his ideas stolen at Oscorp....you can clearly see why he has a reason to act the way he does in the film. Well guys now's time for a spoiler
Scenes that really get you jumpscares is.......well there's only one......when Max Dillon(Electro) is singing happy birthday to himself and and then plugs in the cable and turns into electro was scary and impressive i was sitting with my friend and we both jumped out of our seats. Also Spider-Mans humor is at the best times possible and really reminds you of the old cartoons when even in the most serious battles he can crack a joke once in a while to brighten the audiences moods......EXAMPLE shall we?
Electro: "I'm going to take back whats mine, soon all the power will be mine, I WILL BE A GOD TO THEM!!!!!"
Spider-Man: "Really...a god named sparkles???"
See what I mean?!?!? BTW when you watch the movie don't think Electro dies....because he really doesn't......hence the term electricity never dies it just goes to a different place......Spider-Man has tried to kill him in the comics before but it never worked he always came back somewhere else for his revenge. Now is the time to talk about Green Goblin....when you first see him you are just so blown away....well some of you might be I sure was....nice to see Marc Webb is trying something new with the franchise (director).....Dane Dehaan really plays this character brilliantly, the whole time you can actually see him hurting and suffering from insanity at the same time and thats something we want from a spider-man villain such as the GREEN GOBLIN.....and even though the battle was fairly short like 1-2 minutes it really sticks in your mind and leaves you with a feeling that you can't shake......but here comes the most emotional......sad......and burst out crying part of the movie.....YES Gwens death....now I almost cried at this point in the movie because the whole movie they are building up the relationship between Peter and Gwen and they tease you many times.............leaving you confused to whether or not she will die or not but when you think it won't happen it really does. The visual effects in her death were just heartbreaking and amazing....such as when she is falling with this terrifying look on her face, and spider-man falling to try to save her and a slow motion web reaching out ........and the web looking like a hand reaching for her....and right when gwen closes her eyes to accept her death he catches her but you see her head slam into the ground.....gross right? I know I thought the same thing, but even after that peter is telling himself while holding her that shes ok and at one point you think shes gonna open her eyes but it then just hits you that she won't, and now she's dead.......and after that Peter spending time at her funeral just hits your heart so badly.....you feel so emotional and its so hard to describe that feeling. Other than that I especially loved the montage where he spends an entire year at her grave and you see him standing there in the spring, winter, fall, summer and he just quits being spider-man for a while. Up until this point the audiences moods are entirely down because of the death...I mean some people were crying I heard...but you know it builds you up and then.....peter hears gwens speech on his laptop and at the same time Rhino is robbing a bank and then spider-man shows up because he learns never to lose hope and he jokes around a little bit but at that last EPIC moment he starts swinging the man hole at the rockets and at the very end slams it into the rhinos skull and then the credits start to roll.....THAT FEELING IS INCREDIBLE.............especially knowing that sinister six is about to form...you get a little hint to that at the credits... over all best spider-man movie I've seen till now really shows the classic spider-man and his life really heart breaking and exhilarating. I admit some things were pretty cheesy but I'll let you guys find those in the film..........FINAL SCORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 9.5/10...............WATCH THE FILM
